5/24 No practice today @ Darden Towe, see you @ 5 on Wednesday for the Coke game...
5/22 We're on for 5pm tonight...
5/17 Too messy tonight, we will reschedule tonights game for Wednesday @ 6pm on Korbon. 5/12 - OK, w/a severe thunderstorm watch until 8, I've decided to go ahead & scrub tonights practice. See you at the field @ 5 tomorrow.
Man, I'm looking at some mighty colorful storms headed in our direction... stay tuned. 4/12 Tonight's practice is a Darden Towe from 6:00 - 7:30. REMINDER - There's no water at Darden. so bring your own tonight...
3/29 Tonight's game with Coke has been moved to Wednesday on Korbon field. Please try to get there as close to 5pm as possible.
3/17 I've updated the practice schedule on this site until the end of April & will hand out paper copies on Friday. 3/15 I've arranged a cage appointment tomorrow (3/16)from 6-7 at Total Performance. I'm sorry to keep hitting you up for $, but this'll be another $8-$10. 3/14 12:30 Too swampy at the fields today. I'm working on indoor arrangements for tomorrow. I'll be in touch... 3/11 2:50. No practice tonight. Enjoy a Friday night off, but don't get used to it... 3/11/10 Looks pretty messy out there, but I hate to call off practice until I'm sure we can't get on the field. I'll drive to the field & give you an update ~ 3... 3/10/10 We've scheduled an extra practice at Total Performance from 6-7pm on Thursday 3/11. This should run between $8 - $10 per player. 5/8 We will play Hobbytown tonight at 6 on Korbon field... 5/6 The green globs on the radar seem to be heading our way, but I'm hoping we can jam some innings in before the deluge...see you @ 5. 5/3 We're on, for now. See you at the field @ 4:00... 4/21 - Darden has no shelter & can not hold water, no practice tonight. We'll meet at the field tomorrow @ 4:50 for the Coke game... 4/1 - OK, I'm still hopeful for playing today, I'll let you know something as soon as I know... 3/29 - Yep, the field's dirt soup. Our game will be pushed back to immediatly after the 5pm game today, we need to be at the field at 6:30. We'll resume our game immediatly following the RT-CB game... Looks like I'll be going out ~1pm to look at the field & see if we can play @3. If not the r/o procedure instructs that we try @ 7 tonight... 3/28 - Looks like we're on for continuing our game at 7:00 pm tonight. Let's be at the field at 6:30. 3/20 - We will have a team meeting tomorrow (3/21) at the field @ 2:00 before our scrimmage at 3. 3/17 - I just heard from my Central contact.Pen Park is unplayable tonight.We moved our scrimmage to our place on Thursday... 3/16, 4:10. Radar looks bad, fields would be unplayable & it's & wet. NO PRACTICE ON 3/16.
3/16/09 - Looks wet, but we need the work so we're on right now. I expect the rain to hold off until we're all on the field... 3/14/09 - Foiled again, at least it's not snow. No practice today, maybe Monday...
3/5/09 - Tonights practice will only be from 5 - 6.
3/1/09 - If you're looking for the weather threshold that'll cause me to call off practice a day early, you've found it. No practice on Monday 3/2... 2/28/09 - I can live with it being a little cold & we can practice in a little rain, but not the combination of both, we'll see about tonights practice...
6/9/08 - No practice tonight, I might melt. We will have our skills practice on Wednesday on Mullan.
6/3/08 - OK, no practice tonight, looks like we're gonna get it, I'd rather you & me be at home when we do... Allied tomorrow... 6/3/08 - I am watching the weather - we can't take much rain tonight, we're practicing in the flood plain - more to come... 5/19/08 - RAIN OUT MAKEUP - We will make up our rainout with Coke on Friday @ 6pm on Korbon field. 5/12/08 - RAIN DELAY - We will make up our rainout game vs Allied on Friday @ 6pm on Korbon field. 5/6/08 - Folks, we will practice Wednesday (5/7 @ McIntire @6) & Thursday (5/8 @ Darden @6). I'll work on getting you a paper & electronic copy of the practice schedule ASAP. 4/21/08 - We'll not be practicing at Darden tonight without hip waders, lets hope for better weather on Wed. 4/10/08 - Great practice with Drew, Owen, Joseph, Ace, Zeke & Chase last night. 4/9/08 - If there are any adults left in town feel free to join us for practice tonight, I may be the only one there tonight old enough to shave. 4/4/08 - There will be no practice on 4/4 or 4/7. Our next practice will be on Wednesday 4/9. Have a good Spring Break.
3/28/08 - I have updated our practice schedule through April (see Practices in the column on the left). I'll hand out paper copies before our game on Sunday.
3/24/08 - We have a scrimmage tonight with a team from Monticello. I anticipate starting by 6:20 & ending precisely @ 8pm. Lets all try & be there by 5:50. 3/19/08 - I don't usually cancel practices due to forecasts,but I am today, practice is cancelled. Let's get to practice on Saturday @ 2:30 to hand out uniforms. 3/14/08 - I have a managers meeting at 4:30 (at McIntire)before our practice on Sunday so I may get onto the field a touch late. 3/9/08 - We are going to practice today @ 5pm. The fields are too soft to do anything with, but we're due for a cage & bullpen practice anyway. Let's plan on ending practice at 6:15.
3/8/08 - Our 3:00 practice for today is officially scrubbed, the fields are underwater. I anticipate we will be able to practice tomorrow @ 5.
3/7/08 - Looks like some rainy weather could be headed our way. As soon as a decision can be made on our 3-5 Saturday practice I'll put it right here. 3/5/08 - I expect the wind to die down by tonight & the temperature to stay moderate, so let's practice until 7:45 tonight.
5/31 - Tonights practice will conclude right at 7:00pm
5/18 - Keep your fingers crossed for the weather to hold. The fields look good right now. 5/7 - Just a reminder that tonights practice starts at 6:00 pm & goes until 8. 5/3 I'm calling practice off tonight. Stay home, heal up & think about winning the second half... 4/24 I think these will be nothing but passing showers today so we should be on for practice tonight on Mullen @ 5:30. 4/19 We'll be taking team pictures Saturday morning @ 9:30 & there's no cookout this Friday after the continuation of our game with CB - We need to be at the field as close to 5pm as possible. 4/11 Barring a downpour let's go under the assumption that we will play the Elks tonight @ 6pm. 4/10 We will end practice at 7:00 tonight, before the ground freezes. 4/6 There will be no practice tonight, we will meet tomorrow from 1-3 on Mullen. 3/23 Field umpire duty dates have been assigned to teams. All we need to do now is get volunteers for the 9 dates we have to umpire, so check out Field Umpire Duty under News.
