Berkeley Post #14 Baseball News (14-5-1 Overall) (3-1 Area 4)
We will be meeting at the Marlowe Park & Ride to depart for the Southern Maryland Tournament on Friday July 3, 2009. We will depart at 9:15 AM sharp for the 2 1/2 hour trip. All players who have not payed for their rooms yet need to pay Garry before we leave in the morning. All players should take their complete set of all uniforms and both hats. Players should take spending money. The Southern Maryland trip which is coming up for July 3 & 4 will consist of one night stayover. The games will be played at Thomas Stone High School (3785 Leonardtown Road, Waldorf MD. 20601) and we will be staying at the Days Inn which is located 10 minutes from the high school. The cost per room is $70 per room so the breakdown per player is $18. Please submit this before the trip to the coaching staff. All other costs including meals will be at the expense of each player. The Elkins/Garrett trip will be coming up July 10, 11, and 12th. This will be a two night stayover. We will be staying at the Elkins Motor Lodge and playing at several locations (check schedule). The cost per room is $60 per night for a total of $120 per room for the trip. Each player is responsible for $30 towards his room fee. Please submit this before the trip to the coaching staff. All other costs except for one nights dinner (which the team will pay for) will be the responsiblity of each player. The coaching staff has reserved a block of 10 rooms for each trip for the team, parents, friends, and chaperones. If you are planning on going and would want to reserve one of these rooms please contact Coach E. asap.
