Spring is finally here and that means it is time to scrape off the rust and get ready to play some ball! Both Coach Min and I are looking forward to the 2009 season, and we hope you are as well. Once again, our focus will be on teaching the fundamentals of baseball and the three R's: Respect yourself; Respect your teammates; Respect the game. The coaches will do their best to teach the fundamentals of the game and to put each player in the best possible position to succeed and contribute to the team. In return, the coaches expect the players to show up on time for practices and games, stay mentally focused and give their best effort. Most importantly, always remember what Willie Stargell said; "When they start the game, they don't yell, "Work ball." They say, "Play ball." Coach Dan

We wrapped up the regular season with Kohlmeyers on Tuesday. We played some guys out of position and generally the coaches were more concerned with getting ready for the playoffs than winning the game.
