We wrapped up the regular season with Kohlmeyers on Tuesday. We played some guys out of position and generally the coaches were more concerned with getting ready for the playoffs than winning the game. However, the guys had other ideas, and played hard even though they were out of position for much of the game. In the end it came down to Bigfoot at the plate with the score tied and two outs. Earler in the year, when he grounded out in a similar situation I said that he was the guy we wanted at the plate when we needed a hit. Tuesday he proved me right by lacing a double to center, scoring two and earning the win.
