Welcome To Your Team Site
Welcome to the 2010 McIntire Little League Coke team site. I'm Jeff Burton, the Manager of Coke. I have been around the game of baseball my entire life, from my own 5-year old t-ball days through my short & undistinguished playing days at UVA as a Outfielder. I love to teach & coach this game. We will have 6 players returning in 2010, led by 12 year olds Banks Northington and Alex Jacques. Joining them will be 11-year olds Ryan Ingram, Sam Ryana and Jai Williams as well as 10-year old Luke Burton. Our plan is to have a great deal of fun, to be safe and to do our best to win games. That being said, we will spend a great deal of time talking about LEADERSHIP, RESPECT OF OTHERS, PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY, MANAGING YOUR EMOTIONS, DISCIPLINE, TEAMWORK, and HONORING THE GAME. That is a tall order; it will be a lot of work; but we are excited about the task before us. I hope you are looking forward to the 2010 season!
