Welcome to the Shillington Red Sox American Legion Baseball Website
The Shillington Red Sox is an American Legion baseball team representing Reber-Moore Post 635 in Shillington, PA. We play in the Berks County League. Our team won the Berks County Championship in 1966, 1967, 1974, 1996, 2002, Region 2 Champion in 1981, 1997, 2000. The Red Sox won the Pennsylvania State Championship in 1997, and were Mid-Atlantic Runner-up in 1997. Our roster is made up of the most talented baseball players, ages 16-19 within our area. All home games are played at Rulon Griffith Field, which is located next to the Cumru Elementary building on Route 724 in Shillington. Returning for the 2011 season as head coach is Tim Gombar. Coach Gombar will be assisted again this year by Dan Weber and Zane Kershner.
