May 08, 2006 On a day where we honored the Class of 2006 the four seniors: Steve Bielecki, Anthony Restanio, Bobby Siegworth, and Jake Wojcik all had great days and will leave Burgettstown on the winning side. The Blue Devils damaged Waynesbyrg shot at making the play-offs with a 5-3 victory over the Raiders. Jake Wojcik pitched his 6th completed game and his 5th win of the season by going 7 innings striking out 7, and giving up 3 runs, on 5 hits, and 1 walk. Jake finshes the season with a 5-2 record. Anthony Gobleck and Anthony Tagliaferro each had 2 hits and an RBI. Bobby Siegworth, Berenden Bongiorni, Jake Wojcik, Tyler Lonchar, Bryan Vallina and Sean Tunno each had hits in yesterday's game. Bubba Restanio had an RBI suicide bunt in the 5th inning. The Blue Devils finish the season 7-12-1 overall and 4-8 in the section. << Back
